FOUNDER AND MANAGING ATTORNEY

Helen Lim

Helen Lim is a graduate of UCLA and UC Hastings College of the Law, and worked for some of the most distinguished and reputable law firms representing large corporations and institutions.

Helen used to litigate on behalf of large companies, but eventually left the law firm job to advocate and fight for the people, facing uphill battles against the large corporations.

She is fluent in English and Korean.

Richard Soto

Richard first started his career at a young age working in the Fruit Packing industry. He then for a short time transitioned to a role with a Forestry Slash Crew, clearing debris (Fire-Break) to protect the Redwood Trees. His experience continued at a Sawmill, where he worked as a Cut-line Operator.

At the age of 21, Richard joined Southern Pacific Railroad as a Track Laborer under the BMWE Union. He quickly became adept with Track Maintenance heavy equipment and, over the years, advanced to the Utility Department. This role provided him with diverse experience across various Railroad Crafts. Additionally, Richard took on the role  of Safety Trainer, certifying railroad workers in essential areas such as Rules and Regulations, Confined Space, Lockout-Tagout, Crane Safety, and On Track Safety (OTS).

Richard’s extensive background and hands-on experience have proven invaluable in preparing complex FELA, Whistleblower, Automotive and Personal Injury cases for trial. Over the years, Richard has helped in the recovery of millions of dollars for clients. To this day Richard remains dedicated to supporting Union Workers and their families, leveraging his experience to advocate for workers’ rights and to ensure justice.
